Hello, I'm Perry the Space Explorer! I've been sent on a mission to find the moon and save the star children. The moon disapeared one night in a great burst of light, and stars begun falling from the sky onto planets across many solar systems! On my journey to recover the moon, I've been meeting strange new friends along the way. In each batch of Furbabeys to adopt, there is one star child hidden among them. Will you be the one to find them?
Part 1 of the Great Moon Hunt; A New Mission
Hello Fellow Space Explorer! I’m Perry, the captain and sole member of the Moon Hunt Brigade.
While I was working on my spaceship’s engine, I got a call from Command Central informing me that the moon had disappeared. I ran outside to see and the sky was full of shooting stars. Somehow with the moon gone, the stars have been falling onto planets across the universe. I came to discover that stars are actually Star Children. Imagine my surprise!
Command Central gave me a new mission, and I formed the Moon Hunt Brigade! I have been traveling the galaxy trying to find clues on what in the world happened to the moon and why. My original mission was to study new life across the planets, and we’ve made many friends along the way! I am going to continue bringing home new species for us to research and companions for you to adopt.
Part 2 of the Great Moon Hunt; Furbingers of Doom
While scouring the sky for hints on the Moon’s location, I noticed a meteorite with what appeared to be a small Star Child on top plummeting to the planet Gaba 1-9. Once I arrived (crash landed oops) my Beeper alerted me to trace amounts of Moon Dust and Star Sparkle. Following my beeper, I came to find the Star Child sitting on top of a strange meteorite! But once I grabbed the Star Child, the meteorite began cracking open! And inside revealed a most horrible sight. I named this species Furbingers of Doom.
Turns out they weren’t so bad, the Furbingers were just a lil hungry!
Part 3 of the Great Moon Hunt; Sad Skys
While continuing my hunt for the Moon, I received a distress call from the gas giant planet XJ-61, I immediately rushed to help! Knowing it was a gas planet, I put on my mechanical angel wings so I could explore. When I arrived I found many sad sad creatures floating on clouds. They were all made of rainbows and clouds! Little gassy guys!
But they were all crying! I asked them what's wrong, and they told me that their mother, the Moon, disappeared! “I’m part of the Moon Hunt Brigade!” I told them. They told me what happened that night. Apparently while visiting with the moon, there was a burst of light and suddenly the Moon was gone. They all burst into tears again.
To comfort them I offered to bring them to new parents for the time being.
“I have many friends at home who’d love to adopt you!”
“Yes, yes! Please take us with you!”
As we began loading my ship with our new friends, a star child went shooting across the sky. I quickly leapt to catch him.
“Looks like we have another friend coming home with us!”
